Try This Ayurvedic Face Serum To Get Soft & Glossy Skin

A soft skin that also glows is everyone’s dream. However, factors like pollution and the lifestyle you follow can crash that dream in seconds. While there are different methods to achieve it, we put our faith in serums.

Serums target problematic areas and treat them from the roots. In this article, we will be sharing the recipe to make a 100% natural face serum at home.

You can also benefit from the tips that are shared at the end of this post.

Follow these and get a spotless skin within no time.

To make your natural face serum, you will need:

  • 20 drops of frankincense oil
  • 20 drops of copaiba oil
  • a splash of witch hazel
  • 20 drops of lavender oil
  • 20 drops of tea tree oil
  • 10 drops of rose oil and
  • Hemp seed oil to top it off
  1. To make this serum, begin by taking a dark coloured dropper bottle.
  2. Add all the oils in it and close it tight.
  3. Shake well in order to mix all the ingredients.
  4. Store it in a cool and dark place.
  5. To use, all you have to do is cleanse your face using a mild cleanser and pat it dry.
  6. Using the dropper, drop a pea-sized amount of this serum on your cheeks, forehead and chin.
  7. Massage using a circular motion to settle the serum in.
  8. Leave it overnight and don’t rinse.
  9. Use this serum twice every day to see a visible difference.

All the oils in this serum help in hydrating and moisturizing the skin.

Frankincense oil and witch hazel reduce wrinkles and fine line to prevent ageing signs.

Copaiba and rose oil with its anti-inflammatory properties heal the scars and soothe the skin.

Lavender oil and tea tree oil fights the bacteria that causes skin damage and also contribute to lightening the skin.

Tips To Get Smooth Skin

Here are some tips which can help you in getting a skin that looks smooth and glowing. These are simple, however, implementing them will change the way your skin looks entirely.

#1. Follow The Right Diet

Add an abundance of vitamins and antioxidants in your diet to improve the way your skin looks.

These repair the skin damage from within and will provide you with healthy skin.

#2. Sleep Right

Lack of sleep can also be the reason for damaged skin.

It is during your sleep time that the body goes into the repair mood.

If you sleep fewer hours, it will not provide the skin enough time to rejuvenate itself.

#3. Exercise

Sweating helps in removing the toxins from the body.

Exercising or any physical activity that makes you sweat must be in your daily routines.

This help in inducing more blood flow to the skin which not only make it appear healthy but also reduce problems like inflammation and free radical damage.

#4. Cleansing Routine

Following the right cleansing routine is important too.

Most people only use a face wash and skip using an exfoliator.

It is important that you use an exfoliator twice every week to remove impurities from the pores.

#5. Hydrate the skin

Water should be your best friend.

Drinking bottles of water helps in flushing the toxins out while plumping the blood cells.

Make sure to drink a minimum of 8-10 glasses to have spotless skin.
