Rules That Keep Korean Women So Young !!

Step#1 – Double Cleansing

The first step of Korean skin ritual is to thoroughly cleanse the skin. Korean skincare recommends a two-part cleansing routine. First, you clean your face with an oil-based cleanser to remove impurities such as sunscreen, makeup etc. Next, this is followed up with a water-based cleanser to remove water-based impurities.

If you do not have oil based face cleanser, you can make your own

In a clean bottle, mix equal amount of organ oil, jojoba oil and castor oil. Shake it well and your cleanser is ready

After that you can use your regular face cleanser for 2nd face cleansing

Step#2 – Exfolaition

Though not recommended daily, exfoliation forms an important part of the ritual. It removes the dead cells that have accumulated on the skin and keeps your skin smooth

You can make your own face exfoliator at home or you can also use AHA chemical peels available in market

Step #3 – pH Balance

We use many products on our face. During day time our skin is exposed to pollution, dirt and UV rays, all of these can disturb natural pH of our skin. Sometimes water that we use to rinse or face, can also effect on the skin’s pH.

Using a toner after exfoliation ensures that the skin’s pH balance is restored and additionally, the toner also helps the skin to absorb of other products.

If you do not have toner, you can use either green tea or rose water as natural toner for your face

Step #4 – Hydration

Hydration and more hydration is Korean secret to keep skin soft and supple. They give skin as much hydration as possible, especially in the problem areas.

You can use hyaluronic acid face serums on face, as it is great humectant. If you want DIY, you can apply some honey on your face. Honey is the best natural humectant, it attracts moisture from atmosphere and give it to your skin

Step#5 – Target Treatment

Korean skincare is oriented towards offering target-specific solutions for specific skin issues. Serums, which are concentrated formulas, are a Korean innovation, specifically made for this purpose.

Step#6 – Vitamins To Skin

Korean use many sheet masks, that are rich in vitamins. They eat healthy diet and also do external masks treatment, so that skin gets full dose of vitamins

Step #7 – Lock The Moisture

After such a rigorous ritual, all that needs to be done is to put on some moisturizer so that all the products that you have applied get absorbed into the skin and the moisture is not lost. For this step, a light moisturizer is recommended.

Step #8 – Sun Protection

All this effort would come to a nought if you forget to put on sunscreen before heading out. Make sure you use a broad spectrum sun screen on your face in day time
