Hair fall is one of the most common concerns faced by both men and women today. From stress and pollution to poor diet and harsh hair treatments, many factors contribute to weakened roots and excessive hair loss. But nature offers powerful remedies that can help reverse this damage. Among the most effective are methi seeds (fenugreek) and black seeds (kalonji), both rich in nutrients that promote hair growth. When these are infused into pure coconut oil, the result is a potent hair treatment that strengthens roots, reduces breakage, and stimulates new growth—naturally.
This DIY coconut oil infusion is simple to prepare at home and, with consistent use, can help restore thicker, healthier hair.
5-6 curry leaves
1 teaspoon castor oil
3-4 drops rosemary essential oil (only after cooling)
Lightly dry roast the methi and black seeds on a low flame for 1–2 minutes. This helps release their active compounds and removes moisture.
Slightly crush the roasted seeds using a mortar and pestle. This allows the nutrients to infuse more effectively into the oil.
Pour the coconut oil into a small pan. Add the crushed seeds and curry leaves.
Heat on the lowest flame for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not let the oil smoke. Once the seeds start turning slightly darker and aromatic, switch off the flame.
Let the oil cool completely. Strain it using a fine sieve or muslin cloth into your glass bottle.
Add Final Boosters (Optional):
Add castor oil and rosemary essential oil after the mixture cools completely.
