Procedure
- Soak chia seeds in 2 tablespoons of warm water for 30–45 minutes until they form a thick gel.
- If you are using Seaweed, Hydrate the seaweed. Soak the dried seaweed in warm water for ~10 minutes to rehydrate . Drain and blend it (with a bit of water if needed) into a smooth paste.
- If you are using Cucumber pulp or juice, prepare cucumber pulp or juice by grating or blending peeled cucumber, then straining the juice or using the pulp depending on your preferred gel texture.
- Brew green tea and allow it to cool (or mix matcha in warm water).
- In a bowl, mix aloe vera gel, aloe vera juice, and cooled green tea or matcha.
- Stir in the chia seed gel, cucumber juice or pulp, and honey until well combined.
- Add rosehip oil, vitamin E oil, and glycerin (if using) and mix thoroughly.
- Store the final gel in a clean, airtight container in the refrigerator. Use within 7 days for maximum freshness.
Instructions
Apply the gel on clean, dry skin using clean fingertips or a brush.
Leave it on for 15–20 minutes. You’ll feel a gentle cooling and firming effect as it sets.
