How to use beetroot to get rid of dark lips

No one likes dark lips, especially girls always wish to have baby pink lips. For that, I am going to share some very simple home remedies today. I have used one main ingredient in these home remedies ie, beetroot. Beetroot juice imparts a natural pink tint to your lips without burning a hole in your pocket.

DIY#1 – Beetroot lip balm with vaseline

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Vaseline (petroleum jelly)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sweet almond oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon beetroot powder
  • 1-2 drops vitamin E oil (optional, for extra nourishment)
  • A small container for storing the lip balm

Instructions:

  1. Start by placing 1 tablespoon of Vaseline in a clean bowl. This will serve as the base of your lip balm.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of honey to the Vaseline. Honey acts as a natural humectant, drawing moisture into your lips and helping to keep them soft and smooth.
  3. Stir in 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil. This oil is rich in vitamins and provides additional moisture, making it ideal for dry lips.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of beetroot powder. Beetroot powder gives the lip balm a natural, rosy tint and adds antioxidant properties.
  5. For an added boost of hydration and nourishment, add 1-2 drops of vitamin E oil (optional).
  6. Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly until you get a smooth, well-blended balm.
  7. Transfer the mixture into a small, clean container and let it set for a few hours.
