Home remedies for beautiful and soft hands

Beautiful soft hands are something that everyone wants. However, a lot of things can ruin the texture of it and turn them hard and rough. Dish wash soap, using dumbbells or even something as basic as riding your bike can be the cause of damaged hands.

In this article, we will be sharing some natural homemade remedies which will help in fighting the damage and turning your hands soft, supple and beautiful.

Coconut Treatment

Things you will need for this treatment:

  • 1-2 teaspoons of extra virgin coconut oil and
  • A pair of gloves
  1. Take coconut oil and heat it in the microwave for 15 seconds.
  2. Once done, take some and apply it onto your hands.
  3. Massage in a circular motion for 5 minutes.
  4. Wear a glove and let it sit overnight.
  5. Use this treatment 1-2 times in a day for best results.

Olive Oil + Sugar 

Things you will need for this treatment:

  • 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  1. Take a bowl, add olive oil and sugar in it.
  2. Mix both the ingredients really well.
  3. To use, scoop some on your palms and rub it in between your palms for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Rinse it off using lukewarm water and pat the skin dry.
  5. Finish by applying a light moisturizer on it.
  6. Use this treatment once every two days for best results.

Lemon Juice + Honey + Baking Soda

Things you will need for this treatment:

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey and
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  1. Take a bowl, add lemon juice, honey and baking soda in it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients really well.
  3. To use, scoop some and apply it on both your hands.
  4. Let it sit for 10 minutes and use lukewarm water to rinse the mask off.
  5. Pat the skin dry and finish by using a light moisturizer on it.
  6. Use this mask thrice every week for best results.

Oatmeal + Coconut Oil

Things you will need for this treatment:

  • 1 tablespoon of powdered oatmeal and
  • ½ tablespoon of coconut oil
  1. Take a bowl and mix oatmeal and coconut oil in it.
  2. Mix both the ingredients really well.
  3. Scoop this mix and apply it onto both your hands.
  4. Massage for 5-8 minutes and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Rinse it off using lukewarm water and pat the skin dry.
  6. Finish by applying a light moisturizer over it.
  7. Use this treatment once daily for best results.

Egg White + Honey + Almond Powder + Rosewater

Things you will need for this treatment:

  • 1 Egg white
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of almond powder and
  • Few drops of rosewater
  1. Take a bowl and break open 1 egg in it.
  2. Use the white and set the yolk aside.
  3. Use a clean fork to whip it up and mix it with honey, almond powder and rosewater.
  4. Apply this on both your hands and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  5. Rinse it off using lukewarm water and pat the skin dry.
  6. Finish by applying a moisturizer over it.
  7. Use this treatment once every three days for best results.
