Glow Booster Drink

You can make a powerful all‑natural collagen‑boosting drink at home using amla, chia seeds, and a few other vitamin‑rich ingredients that help your body make more collagen from within.

What this drink does

Collagen itself is a protein your body produces, so the goal of this drink is to give your body the raw materials it needs: vitamin C, antioxidants, good fats, protein, and minerals. Amla is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C, while chia seeds add omega‑3s, plant protein, and fiber, all of which support healthy skin, hair, nails, and joints.

Ingredients (1–2 servings)

  • 1 fresh amla (or 1–2 tsp amla powder)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (soaked in 3–4 tbsp water for 15–20 minutes)
  • 1 small orange or ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup of pomegranate
  • 2–3 small pineapple pieces (optional but great for collagen support)
  • ½–1 tsp honey (optional, for taste)
  • 1 cup water

These fruits are all rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, which have been shown to naturally support collagen production and skin elasticity.

Step‑by‑step recipe

  1. Prep the chia and amla

    • Soak chia seeds in water until they swell and form a gel.

    • If using fresh amla, deseed and chop it; if using powder, measure it and keep aside.

  2. Blend the base

    • Add orange (or juice), pomegranate, pineapple (if using), chopped amla or amla powder, and water to a blender.

    • Blend until smooth; you can strain if you prefer a thinner juice‑like drink.

  3. Add chia and sweetener

    • Pour the blended drink into a glass and mix in the soaked chia gel.

    • Add honey or jaggery only if needed for taste, stir well, and drink fresh.

When and how to drink

  • Have it in the morning on an empty stomach or between meals for better absorption.

  • Aim for at least 4–5 days a week for a few weeks to support visible changes in skin texture and glow, alongside a generally healthy diet.

Extra boosters and tips

  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or halim (garden cress) seeds for extra iron and skin benefits.

  • Keep sugar very low; high sugar can damage collagen, so focus on natural sweetness from fruits.

  • Combine this drink with good sleep, sun protection, and a balanced diet for best anti‑aging results, since collagen health depends on overall lifestyle too
