Flaxseeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and lignans that promote skin elasticity, hydration, and rejuvenation. Their natural gel soothes fine lines and supports collagen production.
Cloves are loaded with antioxidants and eugenol, which boost skin repair, fight free radicals, and can help fade dark spots and wrinkles.
1. Make Flaxseed Gel
Add flaxseeds to water in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring often.
Add whole cloves and let simmer on low for 7–8 minutes, until liquid thickens and seeds look swollen.
Remove from heat and strain using a fine sieve, cheesecloth, or tea strainer to collect only the gel.
2. Enhance Your Serum
When the gel cools, add aloe vera gel, almond/coconut oil, and (if using) vitamin E oil by piercing the capsule and squeezing out the contents.
Mix in rose water or lemon juice if desired.
3. Blend And Store
Whisk or mix gently.
Transfer the serum to a sterilized glass bottle or small dropper bottle.
Store in refrigerator for up to 8 days.
Nightly: After cleansing and toning your face, take 2–3 drops or a pea-sized amount of serum and warm between fingertips.
Gently massage onto face and neck, focusing on fine lines and aging-prone areas (forehead, under eyes, mouth creases).
Leave on overnight. Wake up to softer, plumper, and more radiant skin!
Follow with a light moisturizer if needed.
