Cloves brim with eugenol, an antioxidant that invigorates scalp circulation and shields hair proteins from oxidative stress—two factors linked to faster, stronger growth. Coconut oil, rich in lauric acid, slips easily inside the hair shaft, sealing in moisture and curbing breakage far better than most plant oils. Blend them into a leave-in spray, then fortify the mix with soothing aloe vera, scalp-stimulating rosemary oil, and antioxidant vitamin E. The result is a lightweight, all-natural treatment you can spritz on three times a week to encourage thicker, longer strands without clogging follicles or weighing hair down.
2 Tbsp whole cloves (lightly crushed)
100 mL cold-pressed virgin coconut oil
1 Tbsp fresh aloe vera gel or juice
10 drops rosemary essential oil
2 vitamin E capsules (400 IU each) —or ½ tsp bottled vitamin E oil
Optional booster: 5 drops peppermint essential oil for extra tingle and circulation
Infuse the oil
Combine coconut oil and crushed cloves in a heat-safe glass jar.
Place the jar in a gentle hot-water bath (double-boiler style) over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oil takes on a warm, spicy aroma.
Cool & strain
Remove from heat; let the mixture cool to lukewarm.
Strain out the cloves using cheesecloth or a fine mesh filter to obtain a clear clove-infused oil.
Enrich the base
Whisk in aloe vera until evenly blended.
Pierce vitamin E capsules and squeeze the contents into the jar.
Add rosemary oil (plus peppermint, if using) and stir gently.
Bottle & store
Transfer the finished blend into a sterile, dark-glass spray bottle.
Label with the date and store in a cool, dark cupboard; use within three months for peak potency.
Shake well before each use to remix oil- and water-based components.
Section hair and mist the spray directly onto a clean scalp until lightly damp—about 6–8 pumps for shoulder-length hair.
Massage with fingertips for two to three minutes to boost circulation and help the formula penetrate.
Leave in overnight or for at least two hours; cleanse with a mild shampoo if you prefer an oil-free finish.
Frequency: Aim for three applications per week (daily if your hair and scalp are very dry).
Patch test on the inside of your elbow 24 hours in advance if you have sensitive skin or essential-oil allergies.
Clove: Stimulates micro-circulation, combats oxidative damage, may slow premature graying.
Coconut Oil: Penetrates the hair shaft, reduces protein loss, prevents breakage, and locks in moisture.
Aloe Vera: Balances scalp pH, soothes irritation, and delivers lightweight hydration to both scalp and strands.
Rosemary Essential Oil: Encourages thicker hair by improving blood flow to follicles; often compared favorably with conventional growth tonics.
Vitamin E: Neutralizes free radicals, supports the scalp’s lipid layer, and can lessen excessive shedding.
Peppermint Essential Oil (optional): Delivers a cooling sensation that boosts circulation and may accelerate the hair-growth cycle.
Consistency is key: use this clove-coconut spray at least three times a week and pair it with gentle scalp massage, balanced nutrition, and stress management for best results. After eight to twelve weeks, many users notice fewer shed hairs, stronger strands, and visible length gains—proof that powerful growth helpers might already be sitting in your kitchen.
