Here’s a detailed guide on making your own anti-wrinkle night oil at home using baby oil, cloves, and other natural ingredients for glowing, youthful skin.
Baby oil is a gentle moisturizer, typically made with mineral oil, locking in hydration and creating a protective barrier on your skin.
Cloves are rich in antioxidants (notably eugenol) that fight skin-damaging free radicals and boost collagen, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Adding natural ingredients like vitamin E oil, aloe vera gel, or rosehip oil boosts the skin-rejuvenating effects, aids healing, and delivers extra nourishment.
Prepare The Cloves
Rinse whole cloves in filtered water to remove any dust.
Pat them dry with a clean cloth.
Infuse The Oil
Add the cloves to your sterilised glass bottle or jar.
Pour baby oil over the cloves until the jar is full or they are completely submerged.
For enhanced benefits, pierce a vitamin E capsule and squeeze the oil into your blend.
Add aloe vera gel, rosehip oil, or almond oil if desired, then stir or shake gently.
Sun Infusion Method (Recommended)
Place the closed jar in a sunlit spot (windowsill) during daytime for 5-7 days.
Shake gently each day to help the infusion.
Quick Infusion Method
If you’re short on time, place the jar (open) in a bowl of warm water, ensuring oil heats gently (not boiling).
Let it steep for 1-2 hours and then allow to cool before use.
Strain & Store
If you prefer, strain out the cloves after 7 days or leave them in for continued infusion.
Store your night oil in a cool, dark place. It will keep for 2-3 months.
Each night, after cleansing your face, warm a few drops of the clove-infused night oil between your palms.
Gently massage into your face and neck with upward circular motions.
Focus on areas prone to fine lines: around eyes, mouth, and forehead.
Let it absorb overnight—no need to rinse.
Fights Wrinkles: Clove antioxidants help prevent the breakdown of collagen and elastin, supporting firm, smooth skin.
Deep Moisturization: Baby oil and added oils lock in hydration for a supple, glowing look.
Soothes Inflammation: Aloe and vitamin E soothe and heal.
Natural Glow: Repeated night use improves skin’s texture, tone, and overall glow.
