5 Steps Morning Skin Care Routine

We all know the importance of nighttime skincare, but a solid morning routine is just as crucial.

Nighttime skincare aims to address skin issues before the regenerative process of sleep begins, but daytime skincare is all about protection and preservation. You can’t create a youthful complexion later on, you can only maintain the one you have now.

There could easily be twelve steps to the most effective morning skincare regimen, but let’s be real… nobody’s got time for that.

Today in this post, I will share basic skin care steps, that will take much less time, and can help you to achieve flawless skin, that stays all day long.

Step#1 – Cleansing

A low-pH cleanser in your morning skincare routine helps to properly deep clean without causing redness that is hard to calm before makeup application.

You can choose a gentle foam based cleanser for this purpose, or you can also make your own

I personally prefer gram flour, rose water and honey mixture in morning

Take 1 tsp gram flour and 1 tsp honey in a bowl. In this add enough rose water, until you get smooth runny mixture like cleanser

If you have dry skin, you can use raw milk instead of rose water.

Apply this all over your face, and let it sit for 5 minutes on your face. After that you can rinse your face with cold water

Step#2 – Toner

Toner is the first barrier product you apply on your skin. Good toner balances your skin’s pH and is intended to hydrate.

Do not use toner, that contain astringents it will strip out all hydration from your skin, and will do more harm than good

Step#3 – Anti-oxidant Serum

Antioxidants rich serums set up your face against a lot of agents, that wish to do it harm throughout the day

You can choose a good vitamin C face serum, and dab a few drops on your face

Step#4 – Moisturizer

There is no such thing as skin that is too hydrated. You must use a water based moisturiser in morning

Step#5 – Sun-protection

Last step of morning skin care routine, is sun protection

Daily sun protection is as important as drinking water, so there are zero excuses for not doing it.
