Let’s dive into the inside-out approach that combines dietary tips and natural home remedies for glowing skin.

The Outside Approach: Natural Skincare Routine

Daily Cleansing with Raw Milk

    1. Soak a cotton pad in cold raw milk.
    2. Gently cleanse your face with the soaked cotton pad.
    3. Allow the milk to dry on your face before rinsing it off.

Medicated Ice Cubes for Skin Brightening

Ingredients:

  • Juice of one raw potato (peel and grind the potato, then squeeze the juice)
  • 4 teaspoons of milk
  • 10 drops of lemon essential oil
  • 2 pinches of licorice powder (Mulethi)

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice tray and freeze.
  3. After cleansing, wrap one or two medicated ice cubes in a cheesecloth.
  4. Massage your face with the ice cubes, focusing on affected areas.
  5. Leave the liquid on your face for 5-7 minutes before rinsing.
  6. Repeat this process twice a day, morning and evening, for 20 days.

Additional Tips:

  • For 20 days, avoid using any chemical-based products on your face. Cleanse with chickpea flour (besan) instead.
  • Use a herbal, natural sunscreen like V Herbal Sunshield. Apply it every 3-4 hours if you’re out in the sun, and 20 minutes before sun exposure.
  • Before bed, massage V Herbal Kumkumadi Oil or Kumkumadi Cream onto areas with blemishes or pigmentation. This oil is excellent for reducing blemishes and hyperpigmentation.

The Inside Approach: Diet and Lifestyle

Dietary Guidelines:

  • Cut down on sugar or avoid it entirely for 20 days. Opt for less sweet fruits like apples, oranges, and berries, but avoid mangoes and grapes.
  • IBoost your protein intake. If you’re vegetarian, include buttermilk and milk in your diet. Aim for at least 1 gram of protein per kilogram of your body weight.
  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
  • Eat on time, avoid junk food, and take care of your digestion to prevent gas, bloating, and indigestion.

Liver Care:

  • Drink a glass of warm water with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (without honey) every morning to support liver health.
  • Eat two fruits daily to ensure you’re getting enough vitamin C, which helps reduce pigmentation.

Why This Approach Works

  • Natural Ingredients: The use of raw milk, potato juice, and licorice helps brighten and even out skin tone naturally.
  • Holistic Care: Addressing both external and internal factors ensures that your skin receives comprehensive care.
  • Consistency: Following this routine for 20 days allows your skin to adjust and respond positively to the changes.
