Use cinnamon to get clean and clear skin
We all know the use of cinnamon in our dishes to improve the taste but only a few that we can also use to get clean and clear skin
Cinnamon body scrub:
Ingredients:
- Granulated Sugar – 1/4 Cup
- Ground Cinnamon – 1 Tsp
- Extra virgin olive oil or organic honey – 1 Tbsp
Mix 1granulated white sugar with extra-virgin olive oil or honey and ground cinnamon. Mix everything and use it to exfoliate your body while in the shower for smoother skin. This scrub will also treat back or body acne.
Cinnamon Mask:
Ingredients:
- Nutmeg – 1/4 Tsp
- Ground Cinnamon – 1/4 Tsp
- Extra virgin olive oil or raw honey – 1 Tbsp
Mix organic cinnamon, nutmeg and raw honey ( oily skin) or olive oil (dry skin).Apply the mask to your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Wash it off while scrubbing softly in a circular motion for exfoliation. The mask might sting your skin for a few mins once applied.
Cinnamon for Acne Spot treatment:
Add a bit of cinnamon about 1/4 teaspoon to a tablespoon of honey and mix into a paste. Dab it on that zit. Leave it for 5-10 minutes and rinse off.
Cinnamon for Blackheads:
Cinnamon and honey make a wonderful combination for getting rid of blackheads. Mix 1 teaspoon raw honey with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Apply the paste to the affected areas and rub gently for 1 minute. Let sit for a few minutes and rinse well with cool water.
Cinnamon-yogurt face mask to suppress active pimples
Ingredients required:
- Cinnamon powder: 1 tablespoon
- Manuka honey: 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt: 2 tablespoons
- Extra virgin olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Peppermint essential oil: 2-3 drops
- Face pack applicator: 1
Procedure:
- Make sure you mix all the ingredients well to make a fine paste.
- At first, wash your face with a mild face wash.
- Apply a thick layer of this face mask all over your face with your face pack applicator.
- Keep it on for about 20 minutes.
- Rinse off with lukewarm water.
- Spritz on a natural facial mist.
- Let it dry out completely.
- Apply a moisturizer and massage it in until it gets absorbed by the skin completely.
Frequency:
- Apply this face pack every alternate day of the week to get the best results. If you feel a burning sensation then wash it off immediately. Conducting a patch test is highly recommended.
Cinnamon-aloe vera cooling face pack to get rid of dark spots from your face
Ingredients required:
- Pure organic aloe vera gel: 2 tablespoons
- Cinnamon powder: 1 tablespoon
- Extra virgin olive oil: half a tablespoon
- Face pack applicator: 1
- Wet tissues: 3
Procedure:
- Mix all the ingredients in a clean container to form a lump free face pack.
- Clean your face beforehand.
- Apply this face pack evenly all over your face and neck with a face pack applicator, except your undereye area.
- Close your eyes and apply a slice of cucumber on each eyelid and lie on your back.
- Stay in this position for about an hour.
- Wipe off your face with wet tissues.
- Apply a moisturizer afterward.
Frequency:
Apply this facemask twice in a week in the summers and just once in a week in the winters.
Cinnamon and Ground Coffee Skin Scrub
Ingredients required:
- Cinnamon powder: 1 tsp
- Ground coffee: 2 cups
- Sea salt/ raw sugar: 1/2 cup
- Almond oil: 2-3 tbsp
- Cinnamon essential oil (optional): 2-3 drops
Procedure:
- First of all, take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients to it in required quantities and the combine them all together thoroughly to prepare the scrub.
- After that, use the scrub to massage your skin well using gentle circular rubbing motions to cleanse the skin.
- Lastly, leave the scrub on your skin for a while before rinsing it off and finishing with a moisturizer. You are done!
Frequency:
Use this scrub once or twice in a week to treat the skin and cleanse it thoroughly of any harmful agents and stuff to keep the skin healthy and free from undue issues and problems.
Cinnamon and Banana nourishing face mask
Ingredients required:
- Cinnamon powder: 1 tsp
- Ripe banana: 1 of it
- Honey: 2-3 drops
Procedure:
- First of all, take a ripe banana and mash it up to obtain is pulpy paste.
- After that, combine it with the other ingredients in a mixing bowl thoroughly to obtain a smooth and consistent paste.
- Then, apply the resultant mixture all over your face using gentle circular massaging motions well.
- After that, leave the mask on your face for about 10 minutes.
- Lastly, rinse the mask off using normal water and you are done!
Frequency:
You can use this face mask once or twice in a week to harness its benefits for the skin and moisturize and nourish your skin properly. This will help keep your skin soft, supple, and strong.
Cinnamon, Lemon, and Honey Anti-Acne Face Mask
Ingredients required:
- Cinnamon powder: 1 tsp
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice: 2 tsp
- Honey: 1 tbsp
Procedure:
- First of all, add all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and combine them all together thoroughly to form a smooth and consistent paste.
- After that, use a cotton ball or swab to apply the mask onto where your pimples are and then leave it on there for about 15 minutes.
- Lastly, rinse the mask off after that using tepid water and finish with a moisturizer. You are done!
Frequency:
- Use this anti-acne remedy 2 or 3 times in a week to get rid of your acne for good. It will also help clear up the skin of a variety of issues like dark spots, blemishes, etc. However, this remedy can be quite harsh on the skin so perform a patch test first to figure things out. Nost probably, this one won’t be ideal for sensitive skin types.

- Tomato puree: 3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder: 1 tbsp

- After that, apply it onto your face using gentle circular massaging motions and then leave it on there for about 10 to 15 minutes.
