Skin care routine to remove sun tan

Suntan is one of the most common problems that each one of us faces every day whenever we go out.

But, this suntan can easily be removed when you follow proper skincare steps.

In this article, there are going to share a skincare routine to remove sun tan using natural ingredients.

#1. Use mild cleanser

  1. To cleanse your skin, mix 1 tbsp of raw honey with 1 tsp of fresh lime juice in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Then apply this cleanser all over your skin and gently massage for 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Wash your skin with running cold water and pat it dry with a clean towel.
  4. Repeat using this cleanser twice every day regularly until you get some impressive results on your skin.

#2. Exfoliate your skin

To exfoliate your skin, you will need

  • One pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp of gram flour and
  • A few drops of raw milk or plain water
  1. Take a clean bowl and add the given ingredients into it.
  2. Blend the ingredients well and your scrub is ready to use.
  3. Take a small amount of this scrub and slather it all over your tanned skin.
  4. Gently scrub your skin with this paste for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Wash your skin with running cold water and pat it dry with a clean towel.
  6. Repeat using this scrub 2 to 3 times every week regularly until you notice some visible results on your skin.

#3. Apply De-Tanning Mask

To prepare the de-tanning face mask, you will need

  • 1 tbsp of potato juice
  • 1 tbsp of yogurt
  • A few drops of fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp of sandalwood powder and
  • 1 tbsp of fuller’s earth powder
  1. Take a clean mixing bowl and add all the given ingredients into it.
  2. Then whisk the ingredients well to get a thick creamy paste.
  3. Your de-tanning mask is ready now.
  4. Take a tadbit of this paste and apply it all over your tanned skin.
  5. Gently massage your skin with this paste for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Let the paste dry on the face for 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Then wash your skin with running cold water and pat it dry with a clean towel.
  8. After that, apply any regular moisturizer to prevent dryness on your skin.
  9. Continue applying this mask once or twice every week regularly until you get some positive results on your skin.

#4. Slather aloe vera gel

  1. You can simply apply some aloe vera gel directly on your tanned skin.
  2. Gently massage your skin for 2 to 3 minutes and leave it overnight.
  3. Also, you can apply this gel during the day time before and after going out.
  4. Repeat using this gel at least 2 to 3 times every day regularly on your skin to get the desired results on your skin.

#5. Apply Coconut Oil

  1. Apply a few drops of coconut oil and gently massage your skin for 4 to 5 minutes.
  2. Then leave it overnight.
  3. Use this oil every day before bedtime until you get some impressive results on your skin.
