Night Treatment To Get Amazing Skin The Next Morning

When it comes to the list of our favorite vegetables, carrots have always been up there, but now carrots are also gaining themselves the title of one of our favorite skincare ingredients.

You’ll Need:

  • Fresh Carrots
  • Carrier oil of your choice
  • Carrot Seed Oil (Optional) – Some options are Sweet almond oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, etc.
  1. Clean and peel the carrots.
  2. Grate carrots with a hand grater or using a food processor.
  3. Place 1 cup of the grated carrots in a crockpot and pour 2 cups of the carrier oil of your choice to cover.
  4. Use the lowest heat setting to maintain a warm temperature (don’t go over 100-105°F), infusing the oil for a full 24-72 hours.
    Once done, the oil will turn orange.
  5. When the process of oil infusion is complete, pour through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth and strain the oil mixture from the leftover carrot pulp.
  6. Lastly, add 5 drops of Carrot Seed Oil, and shake to mix.
  7. Store the infused oil in a clean and dry glass container and keep the oil in the refrigerator until ready for use.

If stored correctly, this oil will easily last for 6-8 months.

To Use:
Prep Your Skin:

  1. Before you put your face oil, make sure your skin is properly ready.
  2. With your face wash, cleanse your skin, and then exfoliate if necessary.
  3. This helps to prepare the skin and remove any residue or debris that can inhibit the serum’s absorption.

Toner:

The right layering of products is important when it comes to skincare.

The general rule of thumb is to apply skincare products based on their viscosity, so start with the thinnest product and then finish with the thickest or heaviest product.

Apply the toner over your whole face in tiny, gentle circles.

Facial Oil Application:

  1. Now, after you’ve washed and dampened your skin, it’s time to apply your face oil, the superstar.
  2. Take a pea-sized amount.
  3. Gently apply the oil to your face and neck using your fingertips and then softly tap, pat, and smooth the oil out.
  4. Avoid tugging the skin and rubbing too hard.
  5. Once you have smoothed it out, let the oil absorb on its own.
  6. Wait 5 Minutes:
  7. After you’ve completely applied your oil with your fingertips, wait for 5 minutes for the product to fully absorb.

Addition Tip:

  1. Now, if you want to make a good carrot seed body lotion for winters, you can simply add homemade carrot oil to extra virgin cold-pressed coconut oil.
  2. Mix well and apply as an all-over body lotion.
