#1. Shampoo and olive oil Makeup Remover

 The fatty acid in olive oil help in removing the makeup easily.

Its antioxidant properties keep problems like premature ageing away.

 To make this olive oil makeup remover, you will need:

  • 1/2 tablespoon of baby shampoo
  • 1/4th teaspoon of olive oil and
  • Water as required
  1. Take a container, add baby shampoo, olive oil and water in it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients really well.
  3. Take some of this solution on a cotton pad and remove your makeup using it.

#2. Aloe Vera Makeup Remover

 Aloe vera is extremely gentle hence it is perfect when it comes to removing eye makeup as well as mascara.

To make a makeup remover using aloe vera, you will need:

  • 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil
  1. Take a bowl, add aloe vera gel, honey and coconut oil in it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients really well.
  3. Soak a cotton ball in this solution and use it to wipe your makeup off.

#3. Oil-Based Makeup Remover

Oils are excellent in order to remove makeup as it helps in gliding it away without harsh rubbing.

Most makeup is oil-based hence removing it using an oil-based makeup remover works brilliantly.

It will also hydrate the skin whilst doing its job. 

 To make your oil-based makeup remover, you will need:

  • 1/4 cup sunflower oil
  • 2 tablespoons argan oil
  • 2 tablespoons jojoba oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vitamin E oil
  • 10 drops chamomile essential oil and
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  1. Take a glass bottle, add sunflower oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, chamomile essential oil and lavender essential oil in it.
  2. Close the lid and shake well to mix all the ingredients.
  3. Take some of this solution on a cotton pad and wipe your makeup clean.

#4. Rosewater Makeup Remover

Rosewater not only helps in balancing the pH but it also works very gently against the skin.

Its water content will ensure that the skin remains hydrated whilst removing the makeup. 

 To make your rosewater makeup remover, you will need: 

  • 2 tbsp of Jojoba oil and
  • 2 tbsp of Rosewater
  1. Take a bowl, add jojoba oil and rosewater in it.
  2. Mix both the ingredients really well.
  3. Dip a cotton ball in this solution and use it to wipe your makeup clean.

#5. Witch Hazel Makeup Remover

Witch hazel contains astringent properties which shrink the pores that prevent makeup from seeping in.

Removing makeup using witch hazel removes the makeup without leaving an oily layer on the skin.

To make your witch hazel makeup remover, you will need:

  • 2 tablespoon of witch hazel
  • 2 tablespoon of jojoba oil
  • 1 tablespoon of aloe vera and
  • 2 drops of lemon essential oil
  1. Take a bowl, add witch hazel, jojoba oil, aloe vera gel and lemon essential oil in it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients really well.
  3. Take this solution on a cotton ball and wipe your makeup clean.
  4. You can use a wet towel to remove any residue if need be.
