How To Use Papaya For Long and Healthy Hair

Papaya, the fruit that is easily available all year round, is amazing for both hair and skin. In this post, we are sharing a couple of great DIYs using papaya to help you achieve long and healthy hair.

1st Treatment
You’ll Need:

  • ½ cup Ripe papaya
  • ¼ cup of coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  1. In a blender, add 1⁄2 cup of ripe papaya, add 1⁄4 cup of homemade coconut milk, and then to this add 1 teaspoon of raw honey.
  2. Blend and render a smooth paste with these ingredients.
  3. First, shampoo your hair.
  4. Apply your damp hair well with this hair mask.
  5. With a shower cap, cover your hair.
  6. Leave this mask for about 30-45 minutes or longer, then wash your hair with some lukewarm water.
  7. Use this papaya hair mask treatment for 1 or 2 days a week.

Coconut milk and honey are very healthy, along with papaya, for hydrating and making hair masks that help growth.
Ripe papaya is rich in nutrients such as vitamins A and C, magnesium, potassium, and copper, helping to grow healthy hair and helping to make the hair smooth and shiny.
Another good ingredient for hair care is coconut milk. It contains high levels of vitamin E, which helps reinforce the roots of your hair. It also helps to allow dry hair to soften.
Honey works for weak hair as a hair softener. The antioxidants in it help strengthen the scalp and promote the growth of hair.

2nd Treatment
You’ll Need:

  • 2 tbsp papaya juice
  • 2 tbsp aloe vera gel
  1. In a bowl take the papaya juice.
  2. Then, from an aloe leaf, scoop out some aloe vera gel and add it to the juice. Mix in all the ingredients.
  3. Massage it and leave it for about an hour on your scalp. With a shower cap, cover your head.
  4. With your usual shampoo and conditioner, wash it off.
  5. For the desired result, repeat this step once a week.

Aloe vera has antibacterial and fungicidal properties that are safe. In addition, it stimulates hair growth and reduces irritation on the scalp. It also treats dandruff and other issues associated with the scalp, thereby making the hair’s roots stronger and healthier.

3rd Treatment
You’ll Need:

  • 2 tbsp papaya juice
  • 10-12 fresh curry leaves

  1. Take vitamin E oil and add curry leaves in a suitable utensil & keep it on a medium flame,
  2. Heat it until the leaves begin to pop.
  3. Turn off the flame and allow a few minutes for the oil to cool down.
  4. Once the oil has cooled down, strain, and transfer it into a cup.
  5. Add some papaya juice and blend well.
  6. With the obtained mixture, massage your scalp.
  7. Thoroughly apply the oil-mix and allow it to remain for approximately an hour or two. If necessary, cover your hair with a shower cap.
