- Heat coconut oil ideally in a low-medium flame Kadai iron.
- When it’s sweet, add the pieces of Amla, Ridge the gourd slices, and stir well with the dry ladle.

- Simmer for 15-20 minutes until infused, stirring intermittently.

- Remove from the stove and let it cool down.
- When cooled, strain into a clean, dry container.
- The remaining solids can be added to the plain coconut oil for infusion and later use.
- Store a bottle of airtight oil in a cold, dry position.
