28 Days Skin Cycle For Beautiful Skin
Almost for every woman skin goes through a 28 days cycles. On certain days, your skin glows from within and for few days it becomes very dry, dull and extra sensitive.
All the credit goes to the hormonal changes within our body, and today in this blog, I will share a 28 days skin cycle, to keep your skin hydrated, super soft and glowing always.
So without any delay let’s start with our post
Our first phase starts on 1st day of your period. It will last from Day 1 to day 7.
During this phase, estrogen level starts to decline, that’s why you feel your skin extra dry, dull and dehydrated.
This time, make sure you keep yourself well hydrated and use a good moisturiser on your skin, so it feels soft and supple.
You should always use a good vitamin C and niacinamide serum on your face. after cleansing, also make sure that serum contains hyaluronic acid, as it helps skin to hold water
Now coming to phase 2, Day 8 to Day 14
After 7 days of estrogen declining, it means when your period end, estrogen starts to increase slowly, and new skin cells starts to appear.
This hormone stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, thereby impacting your skin’s structural integrity and moisture retention. When estrogen is at its peak, your skin looks and feels plump, hydrated and wrinkle-free.
This is the best time to exfoliate your skin, so new skin cells can appear on top and can breathe well
It is always better to exfoliate your skin with A-H-A peels, you can also use milk or yogurt as natural lactic acid peel on your face
Now coming to phase 3, Day 15 to Day 21
In this phase, your progesterone level will start to increase, that can increase the sebum production. It can also stimulate skin’s oil glands, making them produce more oil.
When oil clog your pores, it can lead to breakouts and dark spots on your face.
Make sure you clean your face very well before going to bed, and do spot treatment for your acne and dark spots.
You can also choose a good retinoid cream to keep acne and spots away from your face
Now coming to last phase of your skin cycle , that lasts from Day 22 to Day 28
During last phase, your testosterone level increases, that’s why many people get breakout just before periods
This is the time when you should start to use anti-bacterial face wash twice in a day to prevent breakouts on your face
You can also use either tea tree or apple cider vinegar face toner on face after cleansing, as they are effective to prevent acne
