Henna, Brahmi, and Amla Home Remedy for Long and Strong Hair
Ingredients needed:
- Henna powder: 1 cup
- Amla powder: 3 tbsp
- Brahmi powder: 5-10 tbsp
Procedure:
- First of all, combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and add some water so that you can obtain a smooth paste-like consistency in the mixture. You can adjust the quantity of the water to achieve the desired consistency.
- After that, once you have obtained a nice and creamy mask, apply it all over your hair and scalp thoroughly and make sure to cover them wholly.
- Lastly, leave the mask on your head for about half an hour before rinsing it off using lukewarm water and you are done!

Homemade Reetha and Shikakai Natural Shampoo
Ingredients needed:
- Shikakai pods: 10 grams
- Reetha berry: 10 grams
- Amla pieces: 5 grams
Procedure:
- First of all, take all the ingredients in a pot or pan and add 3/4 liters of water to it as well. Keep the mixture as is for 8 hours to soak the ingredients.
- After that, place the mixture on heat and bring it to a boil. Once it has started boiling, turn down the heat a little bit and let the mixture boil for 5-15 minutes. Err on the longer side for better results.
- Then, remove the mixture from the heat and let it sit for a bit until it cools down to room temperature. Then, crush up the ingredients with your hands in there.
- Finally, strain the mixture to get the shampoo. You can create this in a big batch and store it in your refrigerator. Alternately, you can also freeze the shampoo into ice cubes and use them whenever you are washing your hair.
Frequency:
You can use this homemade natural shampoo 2 or 3 times in a week to promote your hair health and make them longer and stronger. This shampoo won’t lather much but you don’t have to worry about that as it still will enhance your hair health significantly.
