Remedies For Small Bumps On Face
Are the little bumps on your face bothering you?
Don’t you know how to get rid of them and get your smooth skin back?
Well, because of various underlying factors, bumps are formed. It’s important to know what kind of bump has grown on your face.
So long as the bump doesn’t alter in any way, it’s harmless. However, you will seek the aid of a dermatologist when the bump changes:
- Color
- Shape
- Size
- Bleeds
Before we jump into the remedies we should know what is the root cause of the problem.
In this article, we will discuss some very common types of bumps on the face.
Comedones
Comedones are perhaps the most common form of bump that occurs on your skin.
Comedone (clogged pores) can show up as closed comedones (whiteheads) and open comedones (blackheads) on the face.
Cause
Blackheads grow when the pore is blocked up with sebum and dead skin cells. The top of the pore is open and the color is black.
Whiteheads are forming in the same way as blackheads, except the top is closed.
Treatment
To handle these comedones, we recommend that you wash your face twice a day using a salicylic acid cleanser. Salicylic acid has anti-inflammatory properties and can help to unclog pores.
You can buy a good salicylic cleanser, or you can do this DIY which is eventually effective.

Milia
Milia, also known as ‘milk marks,’ is usually seen in newborn infants, but also occurs in children and adults.
How are they appearing?
Milia is a tiny white bump that appears on the skin close to the lips, cheeks, and nose of your face.
Cause
They develop when the dead skin cells are keratinized and the oil is trapped below the surface of the skin.
Treatment
Treatment options include alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) that help exfoliate the skin.
Even if the millia are harmless, you might be annoyed by their sight.
You may consider options for extraction under the supervision of a dermatologist.

- First, whisk in the coconut oil until it is smooth, followed by the yogurt.
- Once the mask has been stirred until it is smooth, cleanse your face before use.

- Let the mask sit for 5 to 10 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.
- After rinsing, add your preferred serum or moisturizer to lock up hydration!
- Apply this mask one to two times a week at night because lemons can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight.
Yogurt and lemon juice both contain AHA alpha-hydroxy acids which gently and naturally exfoliate dead skin cells.
Vitamin C in the lemon contains powerful antioxidants to help fight free radical aging effects on the skin.
Yogurt acts as a hydrator along with honey with anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory action.
Coconut oils high in vitamin E help soothe the skin and moisturize it.
