Hydrating Yogurt Face Mask That You Must Try In Winters

A tasty and highly nutritious food filled with the goodness of different multi-vitamins is curd or yogurt.
Yogurt, however, has a wide variety of beauty benefits when applied topically to the skin, not just for eating.

1st Face Mask
Soothing Oatmeal and Honey Mask
You’ll Need:

  • 1 Tbsp. yogurt (use plain and full-fat)
  • 1 Tbsp. Oatmeal flour
  • ½ tsp. honey
  • 1 mashed strawberry (optional)
  1. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, then apply to affected areas.
  2. Rinse after 15-20 minutes with lukewarm water, following with moisturizer or facial oil.

For soothing skin irritation, both oatmeal and honey are praised, great ingredients to balance the exfoliation from the lactic acid of yogurt.

Honey is great for added hydration and anti-inflammatory benefits on the skin.

Strawberries are great for some added antioxidants and fruit enzymes that helps to brighten the skin.

2nd Face Maks
Anti-Inflammatory Parsley and Yogurt Mask
You’ll Need:

  • 1 handful fresh and chopped parsley,
  • 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. yogurt
  1. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, then apply to affected areas.
  2. Rinse after 15-20 minutes with lukewarm water, following with moisturizer or facial oil.

This parsley-yogurt mask is excellent for breakout management for acne-prone skin.

Parsley is believed to have acne-fighting properties.

The herb contains high levels of vitamins A, C, and K, which can help to prevent inflammation and balance the output of oil.

3rd Face Mask
Hydrating Avocado and Banana Mask
You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • ⅓ ripe banana
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh aloe vera
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender or in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Apply the mask and leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Rinse with lukewarm water, and follow with a moisturizer or facial oil.

A combination of moisturizing ingredients is used in this mask.

In particular, oils have a fair share of fatty acids and vitamins; bananas will make the skin super soft, and let’s not forget the moisturizing properties of aloe vera.

Pro tip: For extra hydration, slather on your hair and scalp too.

4th Face Mask:
Yogurt Face Mask For Wrinkles/Skin Tightening
You’ll Need:

  • 2 tablespoon yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  1. In a bowl, mix it all and apply it to a cleansed face and neck.
  2. Leave it for 30 minutes, and then use a moist cotton cloth to wipe it clean.
  3. Apply your daily moisturizer.
  4. Repeat it three or four days a week.

Coffee tightens pores and eliminates skin cells that are dead, making the skin appear younger.

It reveals anti-wrinkle properties as well.

It can help minimize the appearance of sunspots, redness, and fine lines by applying coffee, honey, and yogurt face mask directly to your skin.

5th Face Mask:
Yogurt Face Mask For Acne
You’ll Need:

  • 2 tablespoon yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon activated charcoal
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  1. In a bowl, mix it all and apply it to a cleansed face and neck.
  2. Leave it for 30 minutes, and then use a moist cotton cloth to wipe it clean.
  3. Apply your daily moisturizer.
  4. Repeat it three or four days a week.

Activated charcoal, which helps unclog the pores, has absorbent properties that suck out dirt and impurities from the skin.

Skin that is oily is more prone to acne.

The activated face mask of charcoal, lemon, and yogurt are full of antioxidants that can kill bacteria from the skin, giving you skin that is clean and acne-free.
