In this post, I want to share an incredible facial polish pack that I began using five years ago in preparation for my wedding. To my delight, it continues to yield impressive results. This versatile bridal pack not only cleanses and detoxifies the skin but also brightens the complexion, enhancing overall facial beauty. Below, I’ve outlined a step-by-step guide on creating your own DIY face polish pack in the comfort of your home.
- Gram flour (besan) – 2 tablespoons
- Kasturi turmeric (Haldi) – 1 tablespoon
- Neem leaf powder – 1 tablespoon (acts as a preservative for extended shelf life, suitable for storage as herbal bath powder)
- Licorice (mulethi) powder – 1 tablespoon
- Aloe vera powder – 1 tablespoon
- Honey – 2 tablespoons
How to Make Face Polish Powder:
- In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine all the ingredients mentioned above (excluding honey and rose water). Ensure a smooth blend, eliminating any lumps in the mixture.
- Your aromatic herbal face polish powder is now ready, with a shelf life of approximately two months.
How to Use Face Polish Pack:
- Take the desired amount of herbal face and body polish powder and add honey and rose water to create a paste with a thick yet spreadable consistency.
- Dampen your skin and apply the face polish pack evenly over your face.
- Extend its use to your entire body as a body polishing pack, especially beneficial for addressing uneven skin tone and body breakouts.
- Gently scrub the mixture onto your skin using small circular motions.
- After scrubbing, leave the pack on your skin for 5 – 10 minutes, then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Follow up with the application of a moisturizer.
- Utilize this DIY face polish pack once or twice a week to enhance your skin tone and promote a brighter complexion.
