7 Days Hacks For Oily Skin By Shahnaz Husain

When it comes to skin, we all have our own concerns and keep trying different remedies to treat them well. One of the most common issues is having oily skin.

Women with oily skin, have to struggle with many skin problems, like open pores, whiteheads, and blackheads etc…

Today in this post, I will share an easy skin care guide by beauty expert Shahnaz Husain which will help you take care of your oily skin.

So start with oily skin care rule #1 – Cleansing

Shahnaz Husain, suggests to use foam based gentle face cleansers for oily skin.

Also after cleansing dip your face in chilled water for 1 minute. It is very effective to control excess sebum production, and shrink large skin pores on face.

Skin Care Rule #2 – Toning

You can use either chilled rose water or apple cider vinegar as toner after cleansing your face.

If you are using vinegar, dilute it with 2 parts of water first, and then use it on your skin

Skin Care Rule #3 – Exfoliate Once A Week

You can make your own scrub, using rice powder and rose water.

Apply this paste on your face, and rub it gently in circular motion for few minutes.

After that you can rinse your face with cold water.

Exfoliation helps in removing dead skin cells, refining pores, and removed hardened oil. Shahanz also shared that it helps prevent blackheads. However, she suggested not using scrub or grain on pimples and acne.

Skin Care Rule #4 – Face Pack Thrice A Week

Shahnaz is a big fan of Fuller’s earth powder. In a bowl, mix multani mitti, rose water, and mix well to make a paste.

The expert suggested applying the paste three times a week.

Another face pack, she suggested, could be prepared using besan, curd, and a pinch of turmeric. Mix all the ingredients well and apply to your face. Keep for 20 minutes and wash off.

Apart from all these rules, make sure you keep your skin well moisturised. It is better to use water based moisturiser for oily skin
