Visible hairline on scalp? Try these DIYs

We all dream of having long, healthy, and beautiful hair, but for many of us, this journey isn’t always easy. While some people are naturally blessed with strong and healthy hair, many of us have to put in extra effort to achieve those luscious locks. I can certainly relate to this, especially after the birth of my daughter, when hair fall became a major concern. Along with the hair loss, I struggled with dry, dull hair, split ends, and dandruff for almost a year, until I finally decided to take matters into my own hands.

I turned to some DIY remedies that were passed down by my grandmother. Not all of them worked, but a few worked wonders, and today, I want to share those with you. These homemade treatments have truly made a difference in the health of my hair, and I hope they will do the same for you.

DIY#1 – Apple Cider Vinegar with Coconut Oil

Ingredients:

  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Coconut Oil

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) and coconut oil can make a great hair tonic for lifeless strands. To make this treatment, mix no more than ten drops of ACV with coconut oil. Massage the mixture into your scalp 8-10 hours before washing your hair. This will allow the oils to nourish your scalp and hair follicles. When it’s time to wash, use lukewarm water to shampoo your hair. This can be done once a week, and you can even store the solution in a glass bottle for convenience.

DIY#2 – Ginger & Onion Juice Hair Tonic

Ingredients:

  • Ginger Juice or Onion Juice

You can use either ginger juice or onion juice, depending on your hair concern. If you’re dealing with slow hair growth, onion juice is your best bet. If split ends and dullness are the issue, ginger juice works wonders.

Onion juice is known for stimulating hair growth, while ginger improves circulation to the scalp, which helps nourish the hair roots. To make this tonic, simply apply ginger juice to your scalp and leave it on for 30 minutes before washing it off. Repeat this treatment once a week for the best results. It’s a simple yet effective remedy, and it’s no surprise that it’s a bestselling ingredient in many commercial hair care products.

DIY#3 – Mustard Oil & Fenugreek Seeds

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Mustard Oil
  • 3 tablespoons of Fenugreek Seeds

Mustard oil, when combined with fenugreek seeds, can work wonders for your hair. Start by adding three tablespoons of fenugreek seeds to a cup of mustard oil. Heat the mixture for about ten minutes, then allow it to cool. Once cooled, strain the oil to remove the seeds.

You can use the drained oil as a hair tonic, massaging it into your scalp before your hair wash. Additionally, you can crush the fenugreek seeds and rub them onto your scalp for added benefits. Leave the seeds on for about two hours before washing with cold water. Avoid using hot water as mustard oil has a heat-absorbing nature. This treatment helps with hair nourishment and promotes healthy hair growth.

These simple, natural remedies have helped me regain my hair’s health and vitality. Whether you’re dealing with hair fall, dullness, split ends, or dandruff, these DIY treatments can give your hair the boost it needs. Give them a try and be patient – results won’t happen overnight, but with consistent use, you’ll notice a significant improvement in your hair’s texture, strength, and overall appearance. If you struggle with your hair like I did, don’t be afraid to try these time-tested remedies. They may just be the solution you’re looking for!
