In this article, I have listed down the most effective face pack recipes that use either of the ingredients to rejuvenate your skin from within. Consuming 2 tablespoons of brewed green tea (cooled) every day naturally protects the skin from the damage caused by the UV rays of the skin. Filled with multivitamins and minerals for skin nourishment. It also helps to fight the early signs of aging. Lemon juice contains vitamin C, and that boosts collagen production while citric acid tightens pores and brightens overall skin. It is full of potassium for hydration, and it also contains lutein which strengthens natural antioxidants, fights premature aging and enhances UV defense.

 

DIY Lemon-green tea face pack recipe

Turmeric is enriched with natural anti-inflammatory properties for fighting acne, eczema, and other skin conditions. A powerful antioxidant that lightens dark spots, freckles, scars and more.

Ingredients required:

  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Freshly brewed green tea water: 2 tablespoons
  • Wild turmeric powder: just a pinch

Procedure:

  1. Add all ingredients into a small bowl and mix well.
  2. Use a cotton ball to pat the mask onto a clean face (make sure all hair is pulled back, away from face).
  3. Wait 3 minutes for it to dry and repeat.
  4. When all the mask is used up leave on face for 10 minutes.
  5. Rinse with cool water and pat dry.

*if the turmeric stains your face a bit (unlikely due to small amount use) simply apply sugar scrub to remove.

Frequency:

  • Use this face mask twice a week to get the best results.

DIY Green-tea face pack recipe with anti-aging benefits

Ingredients required:

  • Green tea: 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh yogurt: 2 tablespoons

Procedure:

  1. Take both the ingredients in the specified quantities in mixing bowl.
  2. Mix everything well to make a smooth face pack with a medium consistency.
  3. Cleanse your face with a mild face wash.
  4. Pat dry your face with a clean towel.
  5. Take a generous amount of this face pack on your face pack applicator and apply it evenly all over your face and neck.
  6. Keep it on for about 20 minutes.
  7. Wash it off with running tap water.

Ingredients required:

  • Green tea bags: 3

  1. Crack 2 eggs.
  2. Discard the egg whites and use the egg yolks only.
  3. Cut the green tea bags.
  4. Pour out its contents in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add the specified amount of oats and honey in the bowl.
  6. Mix everything well into a smooth, lump-free paste.
  7. Cleanse your face with your regular face wash.
  8. Pat dry your face with a clean towel.

  • Steam-distilled rosewater: as much as required

Procedure:

  1. Add all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl at first.
  2. Give it a good stir to make sure that everything gets mixed up well.
  3. Add enough rose water in it to make a face pack with a medium consistency.
  4. Take a generous amount of this face pack on your face pack applicator.
  5. Apply an even layer of this face pack all over your face and neck.
  6. Let it sit until it dries out completely.
  7. Then rinse it off with running tap water.
  8. Follow up with a moisturizer.
