Glass Skin Regime In 5 Steps
Glass skin is a term used for really smooth, even-toned, and lustrous skin that’s so flawless it seems to have the appearance of glass.
Achieving glass skin demands a multi-dimensional approach. The surface of your skin requires to be extra smooth, without bumps or aggravated texture.
Intense hydration is the key to achieve glass skin. Today in this post, I will share a step by step guide to obtain, clear, glowing, glass-like skin.
Step#1 – Double Cleanse
A clean face is essential when it comes to your skincare routine, especially at night time when your face has accrued all that dirt, impurities, and makeup residue.
Start off the cleansing with oil cleanser, or micellar water, followed by a foam based cleanser.
If you have dry skin, you can use cream based cleanser instead of foam based.
Step#2 – Exfoliate
Exfoliation 2 times in a week, is must to keep dead skin cells away, that dull our skin and clog pores.
You can use curdled milk as natural exfoliator, as it is rich in activated alpha hydroxy acids.
Take half cup of raw milk, in this add few drops of lemon juice, and keep it aside for 15 minutes
After 15 minutes you can apply this solution on your clean face, and leave it for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes you can wipe it off.
Step#3 – Toning
Like cleansing, toning of skin is also important on daily basis.
You can make your own toner with fermented rice water. In a clean spray bottle, dilute 1 part of fermented rice water, with 1 part of distilled water.
Shake it well, and your toner is ready
Spray this toner all over your face after cleansing, a nd leave it for 2 minutes to air dry.
Step#4 – Treat Skin With Serum
Serums typically contain a greater concentration of multitasking active ingredients.
For this purpose, I prefer market based serums, as you know exact strength of actives in them.
In daytime you can choose vitamin C and Niacinamide face serums. In night time you can choose serums, that help your skin to repair, like Retinol serums.
Step#5 – Moisturization
Last step of this routine, is to lock moisture into your skin. Put a layer of moisturiser on your face, and you’re done !!
