All Natural Hair Dye With Garlic Peels

While not widely known or used, it is possible to create a natural hair dye using garlic peels. The method involves roasting the peels to create ash, then mixing it with oil to form a paste. This paste can then be applied to the hair to create a natural dye, potentially darkening or toning the hair colo

Ingredients:

  • Garlic peels (outer skin layer)
  • Oil (your choice)

Instructions:

  1. Gather a large quantity of garlic peels, as they will reduce significantly when turned into ash.

  2. In a pan, roast the garlic peels until they turn into black ash.
  3. Use a cotton cloth to filter the ash, ensuring you get a fine powder.

  4. Add oil to the ash and stir until you achieve a paste-like consistency, similar to commercial hair dye. You can use any oil, I prefer Coconut or Sesame oil
  5. Store the mixture in a glass bottle and keep it in a dark place for 24 hours. Avoid refrigerating.
  6. Apply the dye to your hair as you would with any commercial hair dye. For best results, apply it in the evening.
  7. Wash your hair the next morning. For even better results, wait 2-3 days before rinsing it off.

Benefits:

  • This natural hair dye gives your hair a natural look that lasts longer.
  • The oil mixture helps keep your hair healthy and nourished.
