DIY Anti Aging Oil Recipe

Aging is a natural process, but with the right skincare routine, you can slow it down and maintain a youthful glow. One of the best ways to achieve this is by using natural oils that nourish and rejuvenate your skin. Today, I’ll guide you through making your own anti-aging oil that will protect your skin, slow down the aging process, and make your collagen layer more elastic.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed (ground)
  • 1 green tea bag
  • 1 teaspoon of instant coffee

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, and 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil.
  2. Grind 1 tablespoon of flaxseed and add it to the oil mixture. Add 1 green tea bag to the mixture.
  3. Place the bowl in a water bath and let it heat for 40 minutes. This process helps infuse the oils with the beneficial properties of flaxseed and green tea.
  4. After 40 minutes, remove the bowl from the water bath and let it cool slightly.
  5. Strain the mixture through a piece of cloth or medical gauze to remove any solid particles.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of instant coffee to the strained oil mixture and mix well.
  7. Transfer the oil to a clean, dry bottle and store it in a cool, but not refrigerated, place. This oil can be stored for up to 2 months.

Application

  1. Apply this oil to your skin before bed. Make sure your skin is clean and dry.
  2. Massage your skin well until it absorbs the oil. Use gentle circular motions to ensure the oil penetrates deeply.
  3. Leave the oil on your skin overnight. This allows the beneficial ingredients to work their magic while you sleep.
  4. In the morning, wash your skin well with a gentle cleanser to remove any residual oil.
  5. For best results, repeat the application of this oil daily. Consistency is key to achieving and maintaining youthful, glowing skin.
