There are many chemical peels at home treatments are available in market, but it is important to use them in right strength and use them as per guidelines
Today in this post I will share, what kind of chemical peels you should use, and what steps you should follow
Most of these peels contains two types of acids, one is alpha hydroxy acid and second one is beta hydroxy acid. These peels are effective to remove dead layer from your skin, so that your new baby soft fresh skin can breathe properly.
When you go to dermatologist, most of the time they use highly potent chemical peel treatment for your skin, but when it comes to home, it is not safe to use these acids on your skin in very high concentration
You can start with 25% AHA and 2% BHA chemical peel treatment at home, but again you should be very careful what kind of AHA you are going to use on your skin
Some skin care products use glycolic acid for A-H-A, while some uses lactic acid and mandelic acid
Glycolic acid molecules are very small and it can penetrate very deep into your skin, so if you have sensitive skin, you should not use AHA chemical peel that contains glycolic acid
For sensitive and acne prone skin, it is better to use A-H-A peel with lactic acid
You can also try A-H-A peel with mandelic acid, it also works very well for Indian skin
Now once you have right kind of chemical peel with you, let me tell you how to use this peel
Use this chemical peel only at night time. Make sure your face is clean and dry before using this peel.
Now apply few drops of this peel all over your face, rub it all over your face and leave it on your face for 10 minutes and then rinse your face with plain water
When you are using this chemical peel on your face, make sure
you do not use any pack on your face just after this treatment
Just apply a gentle face serum and water based moisturiser on your face after this treatment and you are ready to go on bed
Next morning you can follow your regular CTM routine and don’t forget to put sunscreen on your face
