Winter Skin Care Formula To Get Perfect Skin
The Winter season is here, and in the dry winter season, our skin demands little bit of extra care. The dry, cold air outside pulls all the moisture from our skin, which gives you dull-looking complexion
Today in this video, I have shared the best skin care routine, that you can follow in this winter season
So lets’ start with step#1, which is cleansing
We all know cleansing is very important to keep your pores clean, but be careful while choosing a face cleanser for the winter season
If you use a cleanser from market, try to use cream-based or lotion-based cleanser. Foaming cleansers can be too stripping and can cause the skin to be sensitized.
You can also try this DIY face cleanser.
In a clean bowl mix 2 tsp of curd and 1 tsp of honey. Mix and your cleanser is ready
Apply a layer of this on your face, leave for 15 minutes and then rinse it off
If you have dry skin, you can also add few drops of olive oil in this
Now coming to our Step#2, which is scrub
Dead layer skin cells accumulates faster in the winter season, so make sure you exfoliate your skin twice a week
Try to avoid salicylic acid or glycolic acid-based scrub in this season. It is better to use,
fruits based scrub, enzymes present in fruits will remove the dead layer in no time from your face
To make this scrub you will need
- 1 cup yoghurt
- 1/2 cup mashed almonds
- 1/2 cup mashed strawberries
- And a few drops of apple cider vinegar
Mix all the ingredients and your scrub is ready
Apply this scrub on your face and neck
Leave for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with Luke warm water
Next step of skin care routine is Toning and Serum
Daily tone your face with a clean cotton ball dipped in rose water.
After toning apply few drops of serum on your face.
Make sure that your serum contains hyaluronic acid as it helps you to keep your skin hydrated for longer time.
I personally suggest to use Niacinamide face serum in day time and vitamin C serum in night time
Step#4 – Don’t forget your lips
Make sure you keep your lips, well moisturised. Ghee or fresh milk cream is great for your lips, or you can also use vaseline for this purpose
Step#5 – Keep your skin hydrated from inside and outside
Drink enough water to keep your skin hydrated from inside. If you have oily skin, you can use gel-based moisturiser, and for dry skin, it is better to use cream-based moisturiser
The last step of this routine is about nighttime skincare
Apply a layer of serum and moisturiser on your face before going to bed
Also if you have acne on your face, apply a little amount of tretinoin cream on your acne and leave it overnight
