Scientific studies have shown that some of the chemicals found in Aloe Vera have skin whitening properties. Aloesin and Aloin are chemicals.
These chemicals can remove darker spots (hyperpigmentation) by destroying excess melanin cells and also by preventing the skin from producing excess melanin in the future.
Specifically, Aloin focuses on killing melanin in pigmented skin cells, while Aloesin prevents the skin from developing additional melanin.
The cumulative effect whitens the skin over time, giving it a more even look and feel.
