So, here are basic steps on how to use yogurt for doing a facial at home for clear and fair skin.

Step#1. Cleanse Your Face With Yogurt:

Ingredients Quantity
Plain yogurt 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
Jojoba oil 2-3 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add plain yogurt, fresh lemon juice and a few drops of jojoba oil.
  2. Mix all the ingredients well.
  3. Apply the mixture evenly all over your face.
  4. Gently massage the mixture in circular motions for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Leave the mixture for about a minute.
  6. Then, wash your face with lukewarm water.

Use this cleanser two to three times a week.

Step#2. Cornmeal & Yogurt Face Scrub:

Ingredients Quantity
Cornmeal 2 tablespoons
Yogurt 2 tablespoons
Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add cornmeal, fresh lemon juice, and plain yogurt.
  2. Blend all the ingredients well.
  3. Gently massage the paste in circular motions for about a minute on your face.
  4. Leave it to dry for about 5 minutes.
  5. Then, wash your face with lukewarm water.

Apply this scrub once or twice a week.

Step#3. Honey, Rose & Yogurt Face Mask:

Yogurt 1 tablespoon
Rosewater 2 tablespoons
Honey 1 tablespoon
Fresh rose petals 6-7

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add fresh rose petals and crush them to a powder.
  2. Then, add plain yogurt, rosewater, and honey to it.
  3. Mix all the ingredients well till a smooth paste is formed.
  4. Apply the paste evenly on your face.
  5. Leave it to dry for about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Then, wash your face with cold water.

Apply this face mask once a week.

Step#4. Moisturize Your Face With Yogurt:

Yogurt 1 tablespoon

Procedure:

  1. Just take a tablespoon of plain yogurt.
  2. Gently massage it on your face in circular motions for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Then, wash your face with cold water.
