Super-effective Home Remedies for Blind Pimples

Blind pimples are caused deep underneath the skin and closer to the nerves which makes them more painful. They are quite easy to detect, but since they do not erupt like surface pimples, it can be harder to heal them. Blind pimples are caused due to a variety of reasons. The main cause is clogged pores. Other reasons can be hormonal imbalances and the accumulation of dirt.

These home remedies will help you get rid of blind pimples with regular use:

Lemon juice and Honey

Lemon juice is an astringent and helps to remove excess sebum. Production of too much oil from the sebaceous glands on the skin can also result in clogged pores. Lemon helps to absorb this excess sebum and clean the skin. Honey contains small amounts of hydrogen peroxide which deep cleans the pores and counteracts the dryness caused by lemon juice.


  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon of honey

How to:

  1. Take a small piece of cotton and stretch it a little to make the cotton fibres loose. 
  2. Now dip the cotton into the lemon juice and aloe, then squeeze the cotton a little to remove the excess juice.
  3. Place this soaked piece of cotton on the affected area and stick it on the skin using gentle dabbing motions.
  4. Allow the cotton to stay for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the cotton and apply some honey immediately onto the affected area.
  6. After 5 minutes, wash the honey off with plain cold water.
  7. Repeat this remedy once a day.

Tea Tree Oil and Aloe Vera Gel

Tea tree oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Aloe vera gel helps to moisturize the skin and heal the blind pimple faster.


  • 2 drops of tea tree essential oil
  • 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel

How to:

  1. Mix the essential oil with the aloe vera gel.
  2. Apply the gel on the affected area and massage lightly until the gel gets absorbed.
  3. You need not wash the area.
  4. Repeat this remedy once a day.

Aspirin Paste

Aspirin tablets contain salicylic acid which works as a chemical peel and helps to remove dead skin cells which clog the pores. It exfoliates the skin gently and shrinks the pimple.


  • 1 tablet of aspirin
  • A few drops of water

How to:

  1. Crush the aspirin tablet into a coarse powder.
  2. Now add 1-2 drops of water to this powder.
  3. Gently mix the water with the powder using your finger.
  4. Once the powder has dissolved and you have a white paste, apply it on the affected area.
  5. Now take a small piece of cotton and wet it using some water.
  6. Stick this cotton piece onto the area where you have applied the paste to prevent it from drying.
  7. Let the paste stay for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the cotton piece and wash the area with cold water.
  9. Repeat this remedy once a day.

Fuller’s Earth

Fuller’s earth is actually a clay powder which is used in several beauty remedies. It helps to fight pimples because it absorbs all the dirt from the pores.


  • ½ teaspoon o fuller’s earth
  • 1 teaspoon of water

How to:

  1. Mix the water with the fuller’s earth to form a smooth paste.
  2. Apply this paste onto the affected area.
  3. Let the paste dry.
  4. Wash using cold water.
  5. Repeat this remedy 2 times a day.

Cold Compress

This is the simplest remedy which has to be done along with all the other remedies. Ice compress helps to cool down the skin. it also helps to shrink the pimple faster and relieves the pain as well.


  • An ice cube
  • A zip lock bag

How to:

  1. Put the ice cube in a zip lock bag.
  2. Now hold the zip lock bag firmly to keep the ice cube still.
  3. Press the zip lock bag over the affected area and hold it for 10 seconds.
  4. Do this 3-4 times.
  5. You can use this remedy 3-4 times a day while following the above-mentioned remedies as well.
