Today in this post, I will share how can you do glass skin facial at home with all natural ingredients.
Rice water is the key ingredient of this facial, it is rich in amino acids, minerals and vitamins, that can make your skin barrier healthier, so you get flawless skin that shines naturally.
To make rice water, take half cup of white rice, wash it 3-4 times and then soak it in drinking water for 20 minutes.
Once your rice water is ready, you can start with your facial steps
Start with Step#1 – Face cleansing
For dry skin, mix 1 spoon of raw milk and 1 spoon of rice water. Mix and your cleanser is ready
For oily skin, you can mix rice water with equal amount of rose water
With the help of a clean cotton ball apply this cleanser all over your face, leave it for 5 minutes and then rinse your face with cold water
Now coming to step#2 – Scrub
In a clean bowl take 1 spoon of rice flour.
In this add 1 spoon milk and enough rice water, until you get smooth paste. Mix and your scrub is ready.
For sensitive skin, you can mix oats powder, curd and rice water
Apply this paste on your face and neck, massage gently in circular motion, for 2-3 minutes
Let it sit on your face for 5 minutes and then rinse your face with water
Step#3 of this facial is, rice face pack
In a clean bowl take 1 spoon of rice flour
Add 1 spoon of curd in this
Next in this add enough beetroot juice, and mix it well until you get smooth paste
Apply this pack all over your face and neck
Let it sit on your face for 15 minutes
Rinse your face with plain water and your facial is done
Pat dry your face, and do your basic skin care treatment
I normally use Vitamin C and Niacinamide serum
Vitamin C serum is rich in anti-oxidants, that will prevent your skin from free radical damage
Niacinamide serum is very soothing for all skin types, it boost collagen, so your skin looks soft and supple
Take few drops of these serum and dab it on your face
After serum application, apply a layer of water based moisturiser and you’re done
