5 Minutes Japanese Beauty Secret

K-beauty is getting more popular these days across the world, especially because of its “GLASS SKIN” trend, but J-beauty is also not far behind.

K-beauty is all about nourishing the skin, with a dedicated multi step routine to achieve desired results, while Japanese beauty tends to put an emphasis on minimalism and functionality.

Today in this post, I will share a very basic approach, that Japanese people follow for skin care.

Step#1 of Japanese skin care is Double Cleansing

Double cleansing was introduced by Japanese women only. They started to use oils to remove white paint from face, that they wore as sign of beauty, and found out that only oils can remove oil based impurities from your face

For this step, you can first use oil based cleanser or micellar water to remove oil based impurities from your face

After that you can use gentle foam based cleanser to deep clean your face.

If you want to make your own cleanser, take half cup of raw milk in a bowl, in this add around 10-15 drops of lemon juice. Lemon juice will activate lactic acid present in milk.

Keep it aside for 15 minutes, and your cleanser is ready.

With the help of cotton ball apply this milk all over your face and neck, leave for 10 minutes and then rinse your face with cold water.

Step#2 of Japanese routine is, Hydration

For this purpose you can choose face serums with hyaluronic acid, or you can also make your own at home with natural ingredients

In a bowl, take around 10 tbsp of cooked rice water, 1 spoon of aloe vera gel, and 1 spoon of honey. Mix it well and your homemade serum is ready

Dip a clean face sheet in this mixture, and put it on your face for 5-10 minutes

Remaining mixture, you can easily store in fridge.

Step#3, of this routine is moisturization

Choose a good water based moisturiser, and apply a layer of this on your face and neck

Last step of this routine is, Sun Protection

Whether it is J-beauty or K-beauty, sun protection is must to protect your skin barrier.

Apply a layer of sunscreen on your face in day time, and you’re done !!
